Tour Overview

Experience the wild side of Maui on this small-group ocean safari to Molokini and beyond. Throughout our expedition we’ll be on the lookout for any opportunity to have an awe-inspiring encounter with Maui’s marine life. Breakfast, lunch, warm showers, private restrooms and cold Maui brews are included for your comfort on this epic adventure. Our vessel, Ocean Explorer, is purposefully designed to offer unimpeded views and high maneuverability to traverse the waters of Maui Nui with ease. The deck offers a low-to-the-water perspective, you’ll feel fully immersed in the experience when watching wildlife or approaching the scenic lava formations of Maui.

The itinerary changes daily based on ocean conditions to ensure that we are snorkeling at the best sites off Maui’s coast and at Molokini. In addition to Molokini we will seek a coastal snorkel site where turtles rest, feed and get their shells cleaned by reef fish. With 6 hours to explore, our route is carefully curated to maximize snorkeling opportunities, sight-seeing and wildlife searching. We may visit the dramatic backwall of Molokini crater, the most recent lava flows off Maui of the Ahihi-Kinau Reserve or other geological wonders of the volcanic formation, Haleakalā. While wildlife sightings or specific sites canʻt be guaranteed, we have the potential to see Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles, dolphins, sharks, rays and seasonally, Humpback whales.

Please note as an intermediate to advanced adventure, this trip is not recommended for non-swimmers, pregnant women, people with heart conditions, neck, back, knee or mobility issues. Children under 7 are not permitted. Prepare for an unforgettable exploration of Mauiʻs oceanic wonders!
