Embodied Sounds Whale Watch

The ocean is the “happy place” for so many people around the world. Being in its presence, listening to the sounds and witnessing the wonder of the marine life within it always brings a sense of peace and wellbeing. The world’s noise just disappears, and you can just relax and enjoy.

It is now humpback whale season on Maui, and the magic and draw of the ocean is turned up on high volume. Witnessing these amazing giants of the sea in their natural habitat is simply put, “awesome,” and what draws most visitors to our island this time of year.

PacWhale is partnering with Embodied Sounds (producer of the award-winning Sounds of the Ocean immersive experience) for a special one-day opportunity to experience whales like you never have before. Our hope is to provide a more immersive experience that heightens your connection to whales and the ocean by combining live whale watching with an immersive audio experience utilizing wireless headphones. The audio portion of the program is 25 minutes, so you will have plenty of time to hear interpretative commentary of the whale behaviors being witnessed after that.

This event will take place on January 28, 2025, on the 9:15am departure of our Small Group Whale Watch with a reduced capacity of only 25 people. Book early! If demand is high, additional departure times may be added on this day!
