Tour Overview
The wind and waves have been shaping Mauiʻs volcanoes for over a million years and those same elements shape our excursions today. Our experienced captain and crew will use cues from the land and sea to chart their course to the best snorkel location for this small-group afternoon adventure. Our nimble vessel, Ocean Explorer, allows for a close-to-the-water perspective and an open deck with uninterrupted ocean views. With a maximum capacity at just 34 guests, you’ll enjoy a personal and custom experience, made just for you. This small boat experience does not compromise comfort, private restrooms, warm showers, a grilled lunch and local Maui brews are all included.
The highlight of your adventure awaits below the surface at one of Mauiʻs most pristine snorkel sites, such as Coral Gardens, Olowalu or even Molokini. Keep a lookout for Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles, sea birds, endemic reef fish and the rare and endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal. As interpretive guides, our crew are eager to show you the underwater world of Maui and provide an immersive experience.

Check-in Location:Pacific Whale Foundation Ocean Store, Maʻalaea Harbor Shops, next to Maui Ocean Center.
Tour Includes
- Expert crew are certified as lifeguards and in CPR/First Aid.
- Wildlife interpretation and guided experiences by our onboard naturalists.

- Low to the water deck, with the maneuverability and speed of a raft- but no amenities are compromised. This nimble vessel carries two restrooms and a warm shower for your comfort.
- Our catering partners, Three’s Bar and Grill, are locally owned and operated in Kīhei. Maui Brewing Co. on the coast stocks our onboard bar. All ingredients are locally sourced when possible.
- Lunch grilled on board: free range chicken, vegan burgers, all beef hot dogs, local style potato mac salad, Asian edamame slaw, and dessert.
- Unlimited soda, juice, and filtered water, plus 1 complimentary alcoholic beverage. Enjoy Maui Brewing Co. beer or tropical seltzer.

Safety Tips
- Ages 7 and up only
- Guests need to use hand railings and step carefully when entering and exiting vessel on gangway.
- No standing up on benches or chairs.
- No sitting on hand railings, tables, counters or chair backs.
- No smoking or vaping of any substance.
- No children on shoulders.
- Always keep a free hand for a railing or other fixed part of the boat, never carry more than can be taken in one hand.
- Stay hydrated.
- Wear low or flat-soled shoes.
