Tour Overview
Come aboard Ocean Spirit, our luxury sailing catamaran, on this exclusive experience as we navigate the South Maui and Mākena coastline to the protected waters of Molokini Crater. This is our only cruise visiting Molokini aboard our sailing cat, Ocean Spirit. With this small group setting operating at 50% capacity, you’ll enjoy Maui’s most popular snorkel destination without the crowds. A small group means more time with our expert crew below the surface on an underwater reef tour and on deck as we sail alongside Haleakalā and Molokini. Ocean Spirit is a spacious platform for sunbathing on deck, feeling sea spray on the nets, recharging in our shaded cabin or scanning the horizon for wildlife.
Molokini is designated as a Marine Life Conservation District and a Sea Bird Sanctuary. One hour of snorkeling and bird watching at Molokini will be matched by a second hour of snorkeling and turtle watching at a shoreline location. Wildlife encounters while snorkeling most commonly include the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle as well as an array of reef fish, many of which are endemic to the Hawaiian Island chain. Breakfast, a BBQ lunch prepared onboard, and a premium bar are included on this cruise. With sailing, turtles, sea birds, snorkeling, Haleakalā views, local fare and a cap at 50% capacity, this is the premier Molokini and turtle experience you’ve been waiting for!

Check-in time: 45 minutes prior to departure.
Check-in Location: Pacific Whale Foundation Ocean Store, Maʻalaea Harbor Shops, next to Maui Ocean Center.

- Our catering partners, Three’s Bar and Grill, are locally owned and operated in Kīhei. Hawaii Sea Spirits, in Kula and Maui Brewing Co. on the coast stock our premium bar. All ingredients are locally sourced when possible.
- Breakfast: Maui Vegetable Frittata, croissants, Maui Gold pineapple, POG juice, Maui OMA coffee
- Lunch grilled onboard: free range chicken, kiawe-smoked pork with guava BBQ sauce, vegan burgers, all beef hot dogs, local style potato mac salad, Asian edamame slaw, and dessert.
- Unlimited soda, juice, and filtered water, plus 2 complimentary alcoholic beverages. Enjoy local Ocean Vodka, Fy Gin, Kula Rum and Maui Brewing Co. beer or tropical seltzer.

- 2mm thick wetsuit tops, underwater cameras, and binoculars.
Safety Tips
- Guests need to use hand railings and step carefully when entering and exiting vessel on gangway.
- No standing up on benches or chairs.
- No sitting on hand railings, tables, counters or chair backs.
- No smoking or vaping of any substance.
- No children on shoulders.
- Always keep a free hand for a railing or other fixed part of the boat, never carry more than can be taken in one hand.
- Stay hydrated.
- Wear low or flat-soled shoes.
- For safety reasons, the use of full-face masks is not permitted on our snorkel ecotours. We do provide high quality snorkel gear on board for all guests. Learn more.
